To understand what is happening in our brains, we sometimes have to know how to pay with our own money. So I found myself with an electrode helmet on my head listening to strange sequences alternating rhythms and texts read. Objective of the experiment: to understand why our brain is better at processing language after a rhythmic start. Anna, the post-doctoral fellow who is conducting the study, explained to me that this was due to a synchronization of neural activity with the perceived rhythm. And that you could see it!
