Several interactive experiments (with tablets) will allow to discover the applications of Fourier analysis developed more than 2 centuries ago. We will discover that Fourier is omnipresent at the heart of current digital technologies related to signal, image and telecommunications.

Scientific concert Ophonius - LAUM Laboratory - POSTPONED

For the attention of middle and high school students in the Lyon area.
This show presents the physical phenomena of acoustics, based initially on the perception that the spectator may experience.
The physical phenomena at the origin of this perception are then analysed thanks to "live" experiments and multimedia supports (photos, videos, animations) commented by the teacher-researchers in acoustics and carried by sound atmospheres and the original music of the group, between jazz and world music.
