science a woman's job #6

On The March 8, 2022

To show by example that all scientific professions are mixed, to decipher stereotypes, to overcome preconceived ideas, this is the ambition of the "Sciences, a woman's profession" day which, every year since 2017, has brought together nearly 500 high school girls from the Lyon Academy to convince them to have confidence in their ability to succeed.

The 6th edition of the "Sciences, a woman's profession" meeting day, co-organised by Isabelle Vauglin (CRAL) and Audrey Mazur-Palandre (LabEx ASLAN), as well as the ICAR laboratory and the Femmes & Sciences association, will be held on Tuesday 8 March 2022 in the Mérieux amphitheatre at the École Normale Supérieure in Lyon.

The LabEx CeLyA will join the event again this year thanks to the intervention of three "godmothers":
- Barbara Nicolas, researcher, Director of Research at the CNRS CREATIS laboratory (sponsor 2021)
- Anne-Lise Duroy, 3rd year PhD student in Medical Imaging at the CREATIS laboratory, (sponsor 2021),
- Anne-Sophie Evrard, researcher at the UMRESTTE laboratory, (2022 sponsor)
