2020/2021 INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF SOUND, "MY WORLD OF SOUND" INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION - DEAD LINE EXTENSION

2020 International Year of Sound, "my world of sound" International Competition

“We must guarantee to the world that the Year of Sound is not cancelled by the virus and that right after this difficult period, the beautiful “sound of the world” will be heard again by everyone.”
Sergio Luzzi

The International Year of Sound 2020, extended until 2021 in view of the health measures currently in force, organised by the International Commission on Acoustics (ICA) is a global initiative to highlight how the sound environment is a key element in the balance of all human beings, in their relationships with others and with the world, in its economic, environmental, societal, medical, industrial and cultural dimensions.
This event is naturally an important contribution to the UNESCO Sound Charter, Resolution 39 C/59 25 September 2017 on "The importance of sound in today's world": Promotion of best practices".

In this framework, a competition coordinated by the ICA Steering Committee is offered to primary and secondary school students worldwide, linked to the melody "We are the sounds of our world" and its refrain, which has as its subject : "my world of sound"

The music database can be downloaded here
